The Men’s Rugby Club fields three competitive teams. Men’s Rugby Blue (A) is a USA Rugby Collegiate Rugby Association of America D1A team competing in the Rocky Mountain Rugby (RMR) Southwest Conference along with Colorado State University, University of Colorado, and University of New Mexico. It also plays teams in the RMR Northwest Conference which include Brigham Young University, Utah State University, and the University of Wyoming. The team also plays annually against Army and Navy (Shea Cup).

The Silver (B) and Gray (C) teams compete against the corresponding sides of D1A foes as well as RMR Division 2 schools Montana State University, University of Northern Colorado, Western State University, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado State University-Pueblo, and Colorado School of Mines.
